Vegas touts home décor growth
Thirteen home décor resources are debuting new and expanded showrooms for the July 30-Aug. 3 Las Vegas Market.
“Las Vegas Market continues to experience increased demand from better home décor suppliers for both permanent showrooms and temporary exhibition space,” said Scott Eckman, president of furniture and home décor leasing and chief strategy officer, International Market Centers. “No other U.S. market offers retailers and designers such a breadth and depth of better home décor alongside a full range of complementary furniture and gift products.”
Gabby, an Alabama-based manufacturer of transitional furniture, case goods, custom upholstery and lighting products, returns to Las Vegas after a one market hiatus in a 13,500 square foot showroom on C-13 shared with sister brand Summer Classics, manufacturer of luxury casual/outdoor furniture.
“Summer Classics had a record-setting Las Vegas market in January, and Gabby’s return to Las Vegas this July provides a distinct opportunity for exposure to new distribution on the West Coast,” said Bew White, CEO of Gabriella White, LLC, parent company of both Summer Classics and Gabby. “Putting both brands together supports our growth initiatives by leveraging the existing cross-over between each brand’s customer base, and allowing our sales representatives to support both brands effectively.”
Four additional first-time Las Vegas Market home décor vendors will open new showrooms: Chesterfield Leather, a Philadelphia-based supplier of cowhide, leather, sheepskin, luxury and exotic floor coverings in a 1,637-square-foot location on C-5; Cozy Nomad, a Los Angeles-based supplier of one-of-a-kind throws, pillows and furniture, in a 482-square-foot showroom on C-5; Eastern Accents, a Chicago-based designer and manufacturer of luxury bedding in a 2,697-square-foot showroom on A-1 where they were previously represented; and Hugo Park, a Delaware-based global importer of quality furniture, home accents and accessories, in a 1,256-square-foot space on C-4.
