Xiaomi Mi Noise-Cancelling In-Ear Headphones With 3.5mm Jack Launched: Price, Specifications
Xiaomi has launched a new pair of noise-cancelling in-ear headphones in China on Tuesday. The pair comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and is the next generation of last year’s Mi Noise Cancelling headphones, which were originally launched with a USB Type-C port. The launch coincides with the 12.12 calendar date, considered auspicious in China. The new Mi Noise Cancelling headphones have been priced at CNY 299 (roughly Rs. 2,900) and are currently on sale in China.
Xiaomi claims that the new Mi Noise Cancelling headphones have a dual dynamic coil and dynamic iron acoustic structure. This architecture apparently results in original noise reduction and along with Xiaomi’s patented music separation acoustic system offers the listener an immersive experience.
Additionally, the Mi Noise Cancelling in-ear headphones have been awarded the Japanese Hi-Res audio high-quality audio product certification that lets them restore CD-level sound quality. The pair of headphones has active noise cancellation with a 50-1500Hz broadband and 20dB maximum noise suppression, which apparently allow the feature to work effectively in public environments.
The design of the headphones is fairly basic and more or less similar to the company’s earlier models. The new Mi Noise Cancelling in-ear headphones sport a metal body that comes in a solid black colour variant. They also features an elastic back clip for the added convenience while travelling. The 90-degree ear plug design, Xiaomi claims, ensures the long term usage of the headset.
Xiaomi, on the official product page, mentions that the Mi Noise Cancellation in-ear headphones come with a 12-hour battery life. With a battery capacity of 55mAh, the headphones can be charged through a Micro-USB port. The battery can be fully charged in about two hours.
