She says that coaching place a major role in guiding you on a right path to reach your goal by providing proper instructions about the do’s and don’ts while preparing for the examination.

Even though there are many who were able to do with only self-study, Vrundha recommends the aspirants to have a mix of both the coaching and self-study.

Instead of learning it all by yourself and wasting time, attending a six hours class with concentration and interest along with following the module given by the coaching will make your work much easier, she adds.

Wise Choice of Exam Mode

As the JEE Main paper is available in both pen and paper mode. In Vrunda’s point of view, attempting the exam in online mode was a key factor in her success.

She considers that attempting the exam in offline mode will require filling the OMR sheet which is a time-consuming process and without which she was able to save nearly 20 minutes of time.

Also, she says that she has heard from many that online mode would be much easier: that was the reason why she opted for it and now feels that it was a wise choice one could make.

Diligent Effort for Preparation

The female topper did her schooling at St. Xavier’s high school and has qualified for the state board. She started preparing for JEE right from her class 11th and used to contribute a maximum of 2 hours of study apart from the coaching classes.

But, she worked hard by studying for 6 hours straight as soon as she completed 12th standard with an aim to crack the examination with a phenomenal score. Vrundha says that as coaching classes focus mainly on solving complex problems, she focused more on NCERT syllabus and that was one of her success keys.

Her preparation strategy was to keep her focus on JEE advanced and concentrate a little less on board exams as the percentage obtained in board exams is not much important. She says that she started preparing for the board exams only 15 days prior to the date of commencement.
