Meizu m3 note Set to Launch on April 6
It seems Huawei is not the only Chinese company planning to showcase a new smartphone on April 6. Meizu has now announced an event on the same day where the company is expected to launch the m3 Note smartphone in China.
The company made the announcement on Weibo and also launched a dedicated website for the April 6 launch event. The website doesn’t give any detail about the upcoming Meizu m3 Note, but it does tease it with a tagline that says, “Pretty fast, thin, long-lasting” hinting about the processor, build, and battery of the handset.
Gizchina reports that the Meizu m3 note may feature the Helio X10 MediaTek MT6795 SoC; 5.5-inch display; 2GB of RAM; 3200mAh battery, and will come with 16GB/ 32GB storage. The report says that the Meizu m3 note is expected to be priced around CNY 799 (approximately Rs. 8,000) for the 16GB model and CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,000).
The Chinese company has been rumoured to be working on its Pro 6 flagship smartphone for weeks now. A report earlier this month said that MediaTek’s new Helio X25 SoC will be exclusive to the Pro 6 flagship initially. Based on preliminary leaks, Meizu’s upcoming flagship smartphone is likely to feature 6GB of RAM alongside a large 128GB of inbuilt storage. Rumours point to a second version of the Pro 6 as well featuring 4GB of RAM with 64GB of inbuilt storage.
